The author uses Opus 5.5 to perform embedding vector semantic retrieval on GLOBALISE Dutch East India Company archives, and discovers a previously unnoticed 1615 Dutch ship log recording crew hunting dodo birds on Mauritius, filling the 1611-16 gap in the dodo timeline, and also finds a suspected red rail new record.
