World Artificial Intelligence Conference · Academic Platform: Inaugural edition accepts 57 papers, covering 12 countries and regions

During the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, the first WAIC Academic Platform initiated by China was officially unveiled. The platform innovatively adopts a three-dimensional review mechanism combining "AI-assisted preliminary screening + open comments by committee members of the full program committee + multi-party collaborative adjudication," aiming to address biases and quality issues in traditional reviews. The inaugural session received 282 valid submissions, with 57 ultimately accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of approximately 20.21%, covering 12 countries and regions worldwide. All accepted papers will be formally published and indexed in authoritative databases.
