Qiu Chengtong Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Alliance Established at Tsinghua University

On October 11, the Qiu Chengtong Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory Alliance was established at Tsinghua University. It will focus on developing specialized large models for mathematical sciences, AI-assisted formal proof and conjecture discovery in mathematics, and interpretable artificial intelligence. The alliance released over 10 key achievements and research directions in "AI + Mathematics," having gathered more than 1,000 mathematicians and researchers. It collaborates with institutions such as Tsinghua's Qiuzhen College, the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center, and the Beijing Yanqi Lake Institute of Applied Mathematics to explore a path for building China's own mathematical large models.
