Startup Nolla Health launches AI acne prescription service in Utah
Medical startup Nolla Health announced a pilot in Utah, where after users scan their face with the App, the AI system can analyze acne severity and autonomously issue prescriptions. The first 100 patients' each prescription requires approval by two doctors; after reaching 500, doctors only conduct post-hoc spot checks; thereafter, at least 10% of samples and all escalation or side-effect cases are reviewed monthly.
