Anthropic grants employee-level access to METR researchers

Anthropic announces it is providing employee-level access to six researchers at the non-profit organization METR, enabling them to independently evaluate the company's models, security practices, and risk management. METR can use company laptops, office space, and internal tools distributed by Anthropic. The company has waived its right to prevent the publication of evaluation reports but may require redaction for predefined categories such as customer data, attorney-client privilege information, and model architecture.
