Anthropic donates Agent Skills standard to Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation
Anthropic has donated the Agent Skills standard to the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), a subsidiary of the Linux Foundation. The foundation pledged to maintain an open, community-driven, and vendor-neutral approach. AAIF was previously established by Anthropic, Block, and OpenAI after receiving the MCP specification.
