Rokid Leqi Gen 2 AI glasses go on sale with support from JD JoyAI-VL-Interaction model

Rokid's second-generation AI glasses, powered by JoyInside and the JD.com JoyAI-VL-Interaction model, launched on JD.com on October 27. The device features proactive reminders, enhanced memory capabilities, and real-time environmental narration. The model, set to be fully open-source in June 2026, can continuously process live video streams and autonomously decide when to respond. In a blind test involving 58 pairs of human reviewers, the glasses achieved an overall win rate of 77.6% against Doubao and 87.9% against Gemini's video call assistant.
