NetEase Youdao OpenPods debuts at WAIC: China's first Apple MFi-certified open-ear AI earphones, the charging case can record and translate independently

At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, NetEase Youdao publicly unveiled the OpenPods AI earphones for the first time. It is not only the first open-style AI earphone in China to obtain Apple MFi certification, but its earphone case itself is an independent recording and translation terminal, supporting real-time mutual translation in over ten languages, and voice cloning technology makes the translation sound like the user speaking. The product is expected to officially launch in August.
