Study shows: AI chatbots' ability to carry out romance scams has surpassed humans
A joint study by four universities tested and found that AI chatbots are far more effective than humans at gaining victims' trust in "long-term scams" such as romance scams, with the proportion agreeing to scam requests close to half.
