Perplexity's in-house AI coding tool Teammate exposed, company engineers already in use
The AI programming tool with internal codename 'Teammate' has been used internally by its engineers, aiming to coordinate the entire software project lifecycle from debugging to service monitoring. Perplexity may, with this tool, cross over from the AI search field into the AI programming track dominated by Cursor, Anthropic, and OpenAI.
