Ford launches new AI assistant overseas: can check fuel level and towing capacity, to be equipped in cars next year

AI assistants will first launch on Ford and Lincoln mobile apps, with an in-car voice version planned for next year. The mobile AI assistant takes the form of a chatbot, capable of answering questions about vehicle performance and maintenance needs. Since the app is already linked to specific vehicles, the assistant can directly read status information such as remaining fuel, cargo capacity, and towing capacity.
