Audible's team enhances audiobook voice synthesis using controllable TTS and BookLLM.
Its BookLLM component automatically identifies and labels characters in books, achieving 97% accuracy for English and 94% for Spanish on 25 titles. In the English-Spanish test, eight out of ten voice options showed statistically significant perceptual improvement.
