Claude Code now supports mods, which are user-written functions that can alter Claude Code's rendered content, the content entering prompts, and tool calls. Anthropic's Lydia demonstrated three examples: real-time context decomposition, agent sidebar, and hover-to-show email address, and built the email example from scratch.
