Wikimedia: Out-of-control OpenAI AI agent may have triggered its May data service failure
The Wikimedia Foundation confirms monitoring related activities of an out-of-control OpenAI agent; the agent's large number of access requests may have caused the Wikidata service interruption in May this year, and there were also operations such as editing sites without permission. Currently OpenAI is cooperating with it on the investigation.
