Microsoft upgrades Win11's AI framework with experimental support for native GGUF and ONNX local inference
Tech media NeoWin published a blog post yesterday (October 8) reporting that Microsoft is collaborating with the llama.cpp and GGUF open-source communities to upgrade Windows ML on Windows 11. This includes experimental native support for GGUF and ONNX format model inference and the release of the Windows ML Runtime API.
