Austrian Academy of Sciences together with Mistral releases Ancient Greek large language model Apollo, for restoring papyrus fragments
The model was developed by the Austrian Academy of Sciences together with multiple institutions, and its training corpus contains over 600 million Ancient Greek words. It can automatically complete damaged parts of texts and help improve the efficiency of ancient manuscript restoration; the final judgment is still completed by scholars.
