Altman said that when he first heard Apple was suing OpenAI, he thought there must be a very serious problem: 'When I first heard about it, I thought, my god, this sounds so nasty, someone must have done something terrible. We don't want any company's intellectual property, and of course we don't want someone to bring one company's intellectual property to us.'
