Google Releases Gemini 4 Argon, Currently Limited to Trusted Cyber Defenders

Google releases a new-generation frontier model, Gemini 4 Argon, claiming it has frontier performance in enterprise knowledge work such as software engineering, law, and finance, as well as in cyber defense. The model is initially open only to a group of trusted cyber defenders; Google is participating in the US government's pre-release model access voluntary process and gradually expanding access; the model has been used in Google's internal workflows, such as large-scale code repository migration.
