Microsoft is adjusting the roles of Pluton and TPM in its latest generation of Windows devices.
According to IT Home, following Microsoft's updated hardware guidance, Pluton no longer fulfills the TPM 2.0 role on new AMD, Intel, and Qualcomm platforms; TPM is now provided by vendor firmware or a dedicated chip.
