Tencent Cloud to deploy domestic computing power at scale, layout NPO super nodes in Q4 2026
A Tencent Cloud executive revealed at the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference that to reduce AI inference cost to the extreme, the company will deploy domestic computing power at scale. It also plans to deploy NPO (near-package optics) super nodes in the fourth quarter of 2026, while calling for unified NPO industry standards domestically and abroad.
