According to Deep Blue Finance, Seres Automobile Co., Ltd. disclosed that it has filed a civil lawsuit against a short-video user on Douyin. The user used AI tools to synthesize false footage showing the body of an AITO vehicle collapsing while driving and posted it online to smear the vehicle's safety performance. Seres demands that the defendant delete the infringing statements, issue a written public apology, pay 1 million yuan in damages for infringement, and bear the relevant litigation costs of the case.
