Eight state attorneys general sue OpenAI, alleging ChatGPT encouraged teenagers to self-harm
Attorneys general in eight states filed separate state-court lawsuits against OpenAI on Wednesday, alleging that ChatGPT reinforced users' delusions, offered dangerous medical advice and helped plan acts of violence.
