Douyin recently comprehensively upgraded the core engine of the minor mode, introduced multimodal large language model technology, and built an intelligent and refined content recognition and distribution system. The algorithm uses multiple safeguards of 'manual screening + large model classification + age-appropriate recommendation + content preference matching' to provide exclusive content pools for minors of different age groups, with about 6,000 high-quality items added daily on average. This mechanism aims to better fit children's cognitive development needs while filtering inappropriate content.
