Microsoft Word Copilot adds citation feature, enabling traceability to curb AI hallucinations

Microsoft adds a citation feature to Copilot in Word; replies will include source links, and users can click to jump to the original webpage or internal documents to verify information. Microsoft says this improves transparency and helps users understand the source of Copilot's information, to curb AI hallucinations. In addition, Copilot Chat's design and features have been optimized, and the Copilot App adds plugins, connectors and Work IQ enhancements, and PowerPoint also adds skills and connectors.
