Claude Code v2.1.299 Released
Claude Code releases v2.1.299, adding an idle compression mechanism: conversations with over 200K tokens that are idle for about 54 minutes will be compressed before the 1-hour prompt cache expires, avoiding reprocessing all content when the next message arrives. This version also adds the CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_FILE_MENTIONS environment variable and fixes multiple issues including gateway model names, cloud sessions, and sandbox commands.
