Streamed JSON parses only sometimes: how do you buffer fragments and validate completed output?
For intermittent JSON parsing, distinguish network chunks, event-level JSON and the final business object. Chunks can end inside strings or multibyte characters and are not complete objects.

For intermittent JSON parsing, distinguish network chunks, event-level JSON and the final business object. Chunks can end inside strings or multibyte characters and are not complete objects. Use protocol parsing and incremental decoding, accumulate content in order and validate structure and facts after completion. Ordinary intermediate states are not final malformed JSON.
Preserve raw events and final accumulated text
This applies to long answers with unclosed-string errors or incomplete fields despite short answers working. Save raw events and assembled output and check explanatory text and errors. A valid SSE event can contain an incremental argument string. Parseable outer JSON does not establish complete inner tool arguments.
Separate transport fragments, event JSON and business objects
Check retained UTF-8 decoder state, complete event boundaries, content indices and accumulation order. Never delete quotes, backslashes or newlines to force parsing. Prefer documented structured events or SDK accumulators where available. Counting braces alone cannot correctly handle braces in strings and escaping.
Buffer according to the protocol until the business result is complete
Separate raw-event parsing from business-text accumulation and use a proper JSON parser and Schema validation after explicit completion. Display temporary content if needed without executing actions requiring complete fields. On failure, preserve original output and stop reasons and bound repair attempts. Do not silently fill incomplete objects and label them successful.
Test split characters and abnormal termination
Test escaped quotes, multibyte characters and nested objects across different fragment positions for identical final results. Verify interruptions and service errors cannot become completion and check source support after structural validation. Acceptance requires correct complete and abnormal handling, not repeated requests until one happens to split at parseable boundaries.
This article called no streaming model API or supplied unexecuted code. Incremental fields and completion events vary by SDK. Structured output does not eliminate factual errors, and complete JSON does not authorize actions. Keep partial results explicitly incomplete instead of guessing missing content.
