The National Development and Reform Commission is strengthening monitoring and early warning systems for AI-driven job displacement risks while improving safety nets for social security.

At the series of press conferences on 'Advancing the 15th Five-Year Plan', the National Development and Reform Commission stated that it will strengthen monitoring and early warning of AI risks to employment replacement. It will also improve coordination between the social security system and changes in employment structure and work methods, ensure basic and inclusive social security, and enhance tracing and tracking capabilities regarding algorithmic discrimination, deepfakes, and privacy leaks.
