OpenAI announces acquisition of the company behind Code Storage, Pierre

OpenAI acquires Pierre Computer Company, the entity behind Code Storage and several open-source developer tools. Its Trees and Diffs libraries are already used in the Codex application for file browsing and code change review; after closing, Pierre's open-source projects will remain open source, Code Storage customers can continue using them, and features will be gradually integrated into Codex, pending regulatory approval.
