Apple App Store to introduce new rules: Dating and AI companion apps must be rated 18+.
Apple has announced new age-rating rules for the App Store. Apps featuring location sharing, dating, or AI companion functions must declare relevant attributes. In Brazil and other regions, dating and relationship apps must receive an A18 rating. Developers must complete this declaration when submitting updates or modifying questionnaires. All apps must comply by January 12, 2027.
