The National Development and Reform Commission is strengthening monitoring and early warning systems for AI-driven job displacement risks while enhancing safety nets and inclusive social security.

Wang Ruomeng, Deputy Director of the Division of Innovation and High-Tech Development at the National Development and Reform Commission, stated that regarding concerns among the public about AI replacing jobs, monitoring and early warning systems will be strengthened. The social security system will be better aligned with changes in employment structures and working methods to provide essential and inclusive social protection.
