OpenAI has launched GPT-6 Cyber, a security-specific model made available via Daybreak Red.

OpenAI launches security-focused model GPT-6 Cyber, highlighting strong performance across multiple cybersecurity use cases and emphasizing better alignment alongside enhanced capabilities. The model previously powered the publicly released Linux kernel research project; security teams at Mozilla, Palo Alto Networks, Calif, Cisco, and OpenAI itself are already using it. Access is currently available to select Daybreak Red customers, with the scope of access set to expand gradually.
