AI coding tool Amp launches Spaces: A main agent automatically orchestrates and coordinates multiple agent threads.
Amp announced on November 6 the launch of Spaces, a new collaborative workflow designed for agents and teams. Each Space functions as a conversation between a user and a single primary agent that understands requirements, breaks down tasks, and automatically creates and coordinates multiple parallel threads. Progress is displayed in real-time cards; users can click these to view outputs or continue iteration within specific threads. Spaces also support team collaboration, allowing members to submit requests and discuss comments in the same chat. However, Amp only reads relevant comments when explicitly tagged with @amp.
