The Decoder reports that Anthropic is adding text watermarks to several older Claude models by December's deadline under the EU AI Act, though Claude Opus 4.6 and Claude Sonnet 4.6 only activate when temperature, top_p, and top_k remain at their default values; changing any parameter bypasses the watermark.
