YouTube rolls out AI music tool 'Replace Song' for global creators

YouTube announced on November 4 that it is rolling out the 'Replace Song' tool in YouTube Studio globally for creators. The feature launched earlier this year in the US. Creators can immediately generate four approximately three-minute royalty-free instrumental tracks to replace copyrighted audio upon receiving an audio copyright claim. After replacement, the corresponding Content ID copyright notice is automatically removed. Currently, only instrumental music is supported; voice or full song creation is not yet available.
