OpenRouter: Average subscriptions per model lab are rising.
Following this shift, the number of model labs per customer paying over $100 monthly has risen each quarter. By October 2026, it reached 7.3, the highest value we have measured to date. The median increased from 3 to 6, and the top 10% grew from 7 to 14. Overall, the figure roughly doubled.
