Geely launches the 'ZhiXiang-XingRui Traffic Weather Large Model'; lane-level warnings can identify ice and fog.
Geely Automobile Group and the China Meteorological Administration's Earth System Numerical Prediction Center have jointly launched the industry's first "ZhiXiang-XingRui Traffic Weather Large Model," enabling real-time lane-level monitoring and alerts for weather conditions. The model has already produced an initial product called "Beyond-Vision Safety Warning," which offers lane-level visibility, black ice, and heavy rain warnings by using multi-vehicle connectivity to identify hazardous road conditions like icing and proactively alert drivers. It is planned to be mass-produced on the Lynk & Co 900L first. Next quarter, both parties will also release the industry's first "General Weather Model".
