Claude Code 2.1.317 relaxes game creation restrictions
Claude Code updated its game rules in the Opus 5.5 prompt within version 2.1.317: Previously, restrictions added to prevent cloning existing games would mistakenly block requests that only referenced a specific game to describe gameplay requirements. Users can now name a game to specify desired mechanics; Claude will then build an original game of that type. If the request is to copy the original work, it will instead provide similar alternatives. The official team stated they will continue improving the system and are collecting feedback on cases where valid creations were incorrectly rejected.
