NVIDIA Vera CPU: balancing peak throughput with fastest agent performance
NVIDIA has released benchmark results for its Vera CPU in a 100-megawatt data center comparison. Compared to the fastest x86 CPUs, it supports 1.6 times more agents per watt; compared to the most energy-efficient x86 CPUs, agent speed is doubled. Early adopters have provided real-world data: Perplexity reports its agent programming tasks are 1.5 times faster and plans to deploy Vera in production systems, while DeepInfra notes that its agent orchestration speed reaches up to 2.2 times that of the best x86 processor.
